Job applications
Find better-fit jobs. Apply with your resume memory.
Scout job openings, compare roles with your experience, and fill applications using your resume and saved profile in your own browser.
Free to download. Start with the Gemini free tier, or optionally use your own AI provider.
Less repetition. More progress.
Job hunting means repeating the same research and entering the same details across dozens of portals. OpenBUA brings the search, your resume, and the application form into one browser workflow. Give it your target roles, location, and preferences, then ask it to build a shortlist before moving into applications.
- ✓Scout company career pages and job boards
- ✓Match roles to resume and profile memory
- ✓Fill multi-step application forms
The workflow
- 01
Give it your background
Upload your resume and save your work history, skills, portfolio links, and location preferences in memory. Use Global Memory for your profile and Tab Memory for a particular search. Tell OpenBUA which details it should reuse and which questions it should bring back to you.
- 02
Scout and shortlist
Ask it to search for roles with concrete filters: seniority, remote policy, location, and required skills. Have it record the company, role, application link, and evidence of fit in a table. Continue scouting in follow-up runs instead of starting your research from scratch.
- 03
Prepare applications
Open the selected application pages and let OpenBUA fill supported fields from your profile. It can work through portals such as Greenhouse, Lever, and Workday. Choose Ask for review to check applications before submitting, or Full access to let it complete submissions autonomously. Tell it to ask about missing answers.
Try a prompt like this
“Use my resume and saved profile to find 10 remote frontend roles that match my React experience. Make a table of companies, roles, links, and reasons for fit. Open the best three applications, fill known details, and ask me about anything missing. Pause before submitting.”
Common questions
Can it use my resume across applications?
Yes. OpenBUA supports document uploads and profile memory. Save reusable background in Global Memory, and keep role-specific notes in the current tab. Check extracted details before reusing them.
Can it scout and apply while I sleep?
Yes. Enable Full access so OpenBUA can carry out a job-search task and submit applications without separate review prompts. Keep your computer awake and browser running while you sleep. Missing answers or verification challenges may still need your input; closing the browser or putting the computer to sleep stops local execution.
What happens when a portal asks for verification?
You handle the login or CAPTCHA in your browser, then continue the task. Ask the agent to stop for questions it cannot answer from your actual experience.
